General Car Kit Information

1. KIT CAR HEADLIGHTS:
-Most car kits use universal type P6 clear projector fog lights for the head-lights on the kit car.
-You can get he projector fog lights at any auto parts store or on eBay for around $40.00 each.
-Four fog lights turned on, make the high-beam or bright headlights and two fog lights turned on make the low-beamor dim headlights on the kit car.
2. Kit Car Body Parts Adhesive:
Some kit-car body parts come as a two-piece part. For example our 360 kit has a two-part hood, which means it has an outer-hood panel and an inner-hood panel. In order to complete the single-part hood panel for the 360 kit you will need to glue the two parts together. We recommend a very strong fiberglass adhesive that you can get at any auto parts store. This is the adhesive we use: name is Plexus fiberglass adhesive, stock # IT332, color is MA-832 GRAY. The chemical name for the adhesive is METHACRYLATE ADHESIVE, the manufacture is the T.W. Plexus Co. and their phone number is 1-800-851-6692. Some people prefer to use “Corvette, Fiberglass-Bonding Adhesive” to bond the fiberglass pieces together
3. DRESS YOUR REPLICA CAR UP, BY ADDING A "SHAVED DOOR KIT". SIMPLY GO TO
EBAY AND SEARCH FOR "SHAVED DOOR" AND WHAT THIS WILL ALLOW YOU TO DO IS
ELIMINATE THE EXTERIOR, DOOR HANDLES ON YOUR CAR. YOU CAN THEN USE THE"KEYCHAIN REMOTE" TO OPEN YOUR DOORS, WHICH IS INCLUDED IN THE "SHAVED DOOR
KIT". YOU CAN ALSO ADD A THIRD "SHAVED DOOR DEVICE" ALSO CALLED A "DOOR
POPPER" TO THE TRUNK AND THEN YOU CAN ELIMINATE THE TRUNK'S KEY- HOLE. THE"SHAVED DOOR KITS" ARE AROUND $100.00 FOR TWO TO THREE "DOOR POPPERS" ON
EBAY.
NOTE: THE 360 KIT REALLY REQUIRES THIS DEVICE, BECAUSE IT MAKES THE CAR LOOK

www.car-part.com <http://www.car-part.com/> it is easy to use and it will
help you find any part you need. You simply search for the part you want on
the website and it will pull up hundreds of salvage yards that offer that
part for sale. Remember the website lists the located parts by price so go
to the end of the "search results list" to find the lowest price. So, for
example if your donor car needs air bags or your replica car body-kit needs
factory grills or lights this is the best source other than eBay for
locating used parts.

-Completing your kit: We only sell car re-body kits, headlight lens and the donor cars that go with our kits. Any auto body shop of your choice can complete your replica car, if you do not want to do the work yourself. We offer easy to complete kits that you can complete in your garage at home with only basic shop tools like the 360 kit, the GT2 kit, the Ash-Mart kit, the kit three and the kit eight. None of these kits require the donor car to be stretched and all of these kits are designed to fit the body of the donor car after the sheet metal parts are removed. However, regardless of the kit you choose to buy from us any of the kits we offer can be completed by any auto body shop that is equipped to repair damaged vehicles.
