THE PHOTO TO THE LEFT SHOWS THE TOP VIEW OF THE LAMBO DOOR HINGES. THE END WITH THE 4 HOLES WILL BOLT TO THE DOOR AND THE TWO, METAL, ROLLER PIECES WILL BE WELDED TO A METAL FRAME WHICH IS UNDER THE FRONT FENDER AREA WHICH ALLOWS THE LAMBO DOOR TO PIVOT STRAIGHT UP.
The problem with the older hinge model, such as the one described further down the page, was that the tires would scrape against the hinge during a turn due to the sharp 90 degree curve which forces the hinge to sit lower in the body. However, with the newly redesigned door hinges, there is no contact with the tires and the door hinges because of the curve which allows them to sit higher within the body of the car.
