DONOR CAR:

A donor car is defined as the car you donate to you Supercar replica project. For example if you are building a 360 Supercar replica then the Toyota MR2 is the donor car. We us two insurance auto auctions to buy donor cars which are www.copart.com and www.IAAI.com. You shop for a donor car at these auctions and decide which donor car you want and we bid on the car for you. If you win the car you will owe us a $200.00 buyer's fee.

NOTE: WE SALE DONOR CARS
by bidding on them at the insurance car auction for you.

If you want to buy a donor car from us you need to know the following information:

1. If you are looking for an older donor car like a FIERO we suggest you try your local newspaper first. Sometimes you can get a FIERO for around $500.00 that has a little body damage or a bad motor. You actually only need the inter-structure and suspension because most people install an upgraded motor and transmission into the FIERO or they rebuild the FIERO’s V6 motor.

2. You can also go to the two insurance car auctions we buy cars from online which are iaai.com and copart.com and browse through the vehicles they have for sale. This process works much like eBay whereby you bid on the vehicle and the high bidder wins online.

3. Once you locate a specific donor car at one of the two auctions and determine the auction sale date you can tell us what the stock number is for the car and what is the highest bid amount is that you want to pay for the car. We can purchase the vehicle for you by bidding on it using our dealer license and auction registration license which is registered with both iaai.com or copart.com.

4. If we win the car at the auction you will owe us for the bid amount of the vehicle which is what the vehicle brought at auction plus the insurance auto auction’s sale’s fee plus a $200.00 buyer’s fee that we charge for buying the car for you. You can bank-wire the payment for the car and the auction fee directly to the auto auction and then pay us the $200.00 buyer’s fee through paypal or mail us a check. Note: If the car stays at the auction for more than three days, due to a delay with the car hauler you will also owe the auction a daily storage fee which is about $20.00 per day.

5. We can also give you a “vehicle shipping broker’s” phone number and you can have the car and the car’s title shipped directly to your address from the auction. The shipping broker will arrange for the car to be hauled from the auction to your address for a 10% broker’s fee. For example if the car can be booked to be hauled for $400.00 you will owe the truck driver the $400.00 haul fee when he arrives with the car and title and then you will owe the shipping broker $40.00 for booking the hauling arrangements. You can pay him by mailing him a check.

6. Both auctions have sales all over the U.S.A. therefore if you want to save on shipping charges you can find an auction and vehicle near your state.

7. We only buy cars for customers that have bought a body-kit from us. Therefore you will need to buy your body-kit first and then we will help you purchase a donor car.

8. We have seen a 2000 Toyota MR2 hit lightly in the front and rear sale for $1,250.00 and a 1997 Jaguar XK8 hit lightly in the right front fender sale for $2,150.00 and a 1997 Porsche Boxster the was hit lightly in the front and rear sale for $3,875.00 and a 2003 BMW Z3 hit lightly in the front and rear sale for $4,750.00 and a 1998 Pontaic Firebird lightly rolled-over sale for $1,200.00. You can save money by buying a salvaged donor car but you will need to check with your local tag and title office as to how get the salvaged title converted into a rebuilt title so you can buy a tag for the car when you put it back on the road.

9. We can also tell you if the car you picked at the auction will make a good donor car and tell you what the current loan value is for the car. We can also tell you a reasonable “high-bid amount” by looking at a current BLACK BOOK CAR VALUE GUIDE.

10. If your “high-bid amount” is higher than what the car actually is bought for at auction you will only owe what the car actually brought at auction plus the auction’s sale fee plus our $200.00 buyer’s fee plus the haul bill plus the broker’s 10% fee plus any auction storage fees. You will also be given the password to the auto auction’s website so you can see what the car actually brought. Also when the car arrives at your address you will receive the car plus the car’s title plus the receipt from the auction plus an invoice for the haul bill. You must remember to mail the shipping broker a check for 10% of the total haul bill.

11. NOTE: We have had people that we bought cars for not pay the auction’s storage fees which made us have to pay the fees in order to keep buying vehicles with the auction. Therefore your car plus the auction’s sale fee plus any storage fees must be paid in full before the car can be released from the auction. Again you can pay the auction directly by bank-wire- transfer and we can email you the bank wire information after we win the car for you at the auction.

12. NOTE: We have also won two different cars for people who then did not pay for the car at the auction which made us have to pay a $400.00 “re-list vehicle for a future auction fee due to non-payment” at the auction. Also buying a vehicle and not paying for it made us look bad at the auction. Buying cars and not paying for them could cause us problems with our auction registration. It is problems like this that make us hesitate to help people buy a donor car. You must be serious about buying a donor car before we can help you and you may be required to prove you have the money before we bid on any car for you.

13. NOTE: We have also had people who after they received their car and title refuse to pay the shipping broker his 10% booking fee. Therefore you may be required by the shipping broker to send his 10% fee up-front by paypal or check before the car is picked up at the auction.
