Orange Mercy-1 N.T.
The orange Mercy-1 N.T. above has been modified in the front by making the front bumper vents larger. The rear hatch has been also been modified by cutting the long vent slots in it and adding black grill mesh, and the rear exhaust tip open is wider. The side air vents are standard.
-ADVANTAGES OF HAVING A NO-TOP BODY-KIT:
1. You don’t have to bother with the door glasses because your car can have “no door glasses” which saves time and money and a lot of hassle, you drive car only on pretty days.
2. Windshield wipers won’t matter because you only drive it on pretty days, plus rain-x will work in case you did get caught in rain. It saves time and money not to have to install a wiper motor and wiper blade on your finished car.
3. It saves time and money not to have to worry about the heater and a/c working and with a no top air conditioning and heat are not needed. All you need is a good stereo and then let the good times roll!
4. It’s easier to line up your doors, because you’re not having to line up the top of the door frame with the roof of the car, all you have to do is get your door latch lined up working right and you are done, so the Lambo doors are a lot easier to complete for the No Top version body kit.
5. For tall people, head room is not an issue in the No-Top version.
6. There is no better looking version of any vehicle than a car with either the top down, or no-top at all, the no-top version vehicle simply looks better and more sporty.
7. Its very easy to get in and out of the no top version, and on a lambo car it is an important factor. If you get in and out of real lambo you will realize that the car is low to the ground and is the same as getting in and out of a MERCY-2, the seat placement and head room are also the same. The real car was not made for comfort.
8. The No-Top version is simply easier to complete, and you will complete your no -top version car quicker, for example, you don’t have to do any upholstery work on the inside roof on the car because there is no top, also the rear hatch for the no-top version is easier to install than the hard top version due to the fact that the no-top version is more solid because it does not have all the louvers in the deck lid which make the rear hatch lid stronger on the no-top version.
9. No worries about being locked out of your car and if your lambo door were to stop working, you could easily step over the door into the car. We also recommend you install a pull cable under the hood in case your battery died and you needed to unlatch the lambo door to get into the car.
10. WIND, RAIN AND ROAD NOISE: None of these issues matter with the no-top version, with the no-top version you do not have to worry about wind noise and rain coming in around your doors, you also don’t have to put rubber door gaskets around the door, because you only drive it on pretty days and with the entire top off the car none of those issues matter.
11. You do not have to install the quarter glass or the quarter glass frame because a no-top version has no quarter glass which is the area behind each door.
12. With a no-top version you could even screw the lambo doors shut and step over the car door into the car and you would not even have to install the door latches. The car will be so low to the ground getting in from over the door would be quite simple. You could even paint the car with the “01” number on the door like the Dukes of Hazzard's GENERAL LEE and install a dixie horn. Remember the GENERAL LEE orange car had the doors welded shut because it was a race car.
13. You would not have to install inner-fender liners, also known as the black-plastic, splash-shields above each tire because you do not drive the car in the rain.
NOTE: The cheapest color paint which also is the best paint to hide scratches and flaws is white.
