FOR THE DEE-LOW #2 FRONT HEAD LIGHTS USE THE 1990 TO 1996 NISSAN 300ZX HEAD LIGHTS AND FOR THE LARGE MARKER LIGHTS THAT GO UNDER THE HEAD LIGHTS AND ALSO LONG WAYS INTO THE FRONT BUMPER USE A CLEAR 1987 TO 1996 CHEVY CORSICA FRONT MARKER LIGHT/TURN SIGNAL LIGHT ALSO CALLED A BUMPER OR PARK LIGHT. Front windshield: 1994 Honda Accord 4 door. You would take this windshield to a glass shop along with a tracing of the windshield opening of your kit and the glass shop would cut and grind it into the correct shape for your kit or you can sand blast the un-needed areas of the accord windshield off which we explain in a youtube video or buy real lambo glass from the company listed on carkitinc DEE-LOW page in Tennessee or call and an auto glass company and get a price for real lambo glass.
Taillights: 1968-1982 Chevrolet Corvette C3 or 1984-1990 Chevrolet Corvette C4. Also search ebay for 4” LED round brake light NOTE: You can also use the C4 Corvette’s third brake light or search eBay for LED third brake light
Fog lights: 97 to 02 Chevrolet Camaro
KIT CAR GLASS IN GENERAL: Door windows, rear quarter windows and rear windshield: Plexiglas is recommended for the doors, rear quarter windows (behind the doors) and the rear windshield on any kit car or go with only a windshield. Some customers want operational door windows. If this is something you would like, you will most likely be able to accomplish it. You will need to custom fabricate your own design and it is as simple as using a power window track from another parts car like from a junk yard and then attach it to a piece of lexan or plexi glass that has been cut to the right shape to fit the door’s window track. Remember to sand the edges of the plexi glass so they will be smooth. Note: The plexi glass is flexable so when it goes up and down in the door’s window track it can easily bend and curve as need be; therefore, you need to use thin plexi glass.
Door locks: From 1973-1980 Mercedes W126 latches or if you have a topless car with no door glass use an easier latch like a spring loaded, slide, door lock. Note: See photo below:
Gas springs for Doors: Length = about 19” long when compressed down and 36” long when the air shock is extended out and with a Lift pressure or force = 100 lbs. for a heavy door with metal bracing in it or 50 lbs. for a light weight door with no window or heavy metal bracing.
Gas spring for trunk: You can use the same gas spring as on the lambo doors or go with only hinges and no gas spring and use a hood prop to hold the trunk up. Note: Some people like the 92 to 99 BMW 325 trunk hinges that come with a gas shock.
