This kit includes the 5 section body kit and you buy the Jaguar XK donor car, wheels and lights. The kit’s 5 sections include a complete one piece front-clip section, rear bumper, outer door panels, side rocker panels, trunk section. We will tell you how to save money on the tail lights and you may buy the front head light lens from us at $125. for each lens.
- The front-clip section: The Ash-Mart kit is designed to use the front-clip as a single unit that includes the hood, fenders and front bumper all made together as one piece. You can use Fiero trunk hinges and hinge the front-clip under the radiator and then use the Jaguar hood latches to keep the front-clip closed. When you want to access the motor on the jaguar you will lift the front-clip up backwards just like a Chevrolet Corvette's hood lifts up backwards, or you can cut the fiberglass hood out of the front-clip and make it work like a regular hood that lifts open forwardly like most cars do. Most people make the entire front-clip on the Ash-Mart replica car lift up backwards as one complete front clip section because this is the easiest way to complete your replica kit car.
